Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Navy veteran Annette Montoya and the organization Work Vessels for Vets.  Annette wanted to help her local children’s museum by donating some of her stunning mosaics to their pollinator garden.  In return, the organization Work Vessels for Vets came along and helped Annette turn her hobby into a small business.  The non-profit partners with local businesses to get goods and services donated to help veterans start a small business while helping with the start up costs of that business.  Annette’s business, “Pieceful Connetions” is off and running creating cognitive gardens for children as well as veterans experiencing post traumatic stress disorder.  Thank you Work Vessels for Vets for helping and thank you Annette for your service.
