Oxford, Michigan High School shooter Ethan Crumbley will spend the rest of his life in prison. He killed four students and injured seven others on November 30th, 2021.
A Michigan judge handed down the life without parole sentence Friday after hearing impact statements from witnesses and victims of the shooting. The defense team had pushed for a sentence of between 25 and 40 years.
Crumbley was 15-years-old at the time of the shooting, but was charged as an adult. Crumbley’s parents are facing a separate trial in connection to the shooting on involuntary manslaughter charges.
