A north Tennessee town is trying to recover from after deadly tornadoes swept through the state on Saturday, killing six people.
At a morning news conference in Clarksville, officials said nine injured people were transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville in critical and stable condition. Clarksville is located 50 miles northwest of Nashville and just south of the Tennessee-Kentucky border.
A Red Cross official said three shelters are open and mental health and spiritual teams are available at each shelter. A 9 p.m. curfew was still in effect for Sunday night.
