1. Harvard President Claudine Gay resigned yesterday, stepping down amid mounting claims of plagiarism and criticism over recent congressional testimony on campus antisemitism. It marks the shortest presidential tenure in the university’s history

2. It was tragic and could have be a whole lot worse. Five crew members on a Japanese Coast Guard aircraft were killed after it collided with a passenger plane yesterday that was landing, with 379 passengers and crew onboard.  All were evacuated right before the plane was engulfed in flames.

3. With the first in the nation Presidential Primary coming on the 23rd in New Hampshire, Donald Trump is filing an appeal with New Hampshire’s neighbor to the east, Maine, who just removed Trump from the ballot citing the 14th ammendment.

4. It is the final week as mayor for Brandon Whipple here in Wichita.  Lily Wu is set to assume the role on Tuesday and start working on her promises of more police, public safety, growing the local economy and restoring trust in City Hall.
