The Supreme Court has agreed to weigh whether Donald Trump can be kicked off ballot in Colorado.
The state supreme court booted him off the ballot because of his alleged actions leading up to the Jan. 6th attack on the Capitol. The Colorado judges — all appointed by Democratic governors — said Trump engaged in insurrection.
The case will be argued on February 8th. Trump’s campaign team released a statement saying they welcome the chance to argue against the “bad-faith” decision to remove him from the ballot. They say the case is part of an effort to stop Trump’s re-election and they are confident the Supreme Court will side with them.
