The Oscar Nominations are out and the list of nominees, in my opinion, couldn’t be a truer representation of the giant disconnect between what the Acadamy likes and thinks and what actual good movie making is.  The Barbie snub of Director Greta Gerwig and lead actress Margo Robbie — yet Ryan Gosling gets a best supporting actor nomination, is basically the plot of Barbie living out in real time.

3. While some cities like Chicago are celebrating and protecting rat shaped pot holes, we here in the City of Wichita are less than pleased with the state of our roads.  Now, the city wants to hear from you. Well, this is a programming pile driver – Netflix and the WWE just signed a $5B, multi-year deal which includes moving their flagship program”RAW” to the streaming service starting next year.  Smackdown will leave Fox and move to USA in October, plus other origin al pro wrestling programming will be developed.

5. AND…. Scientists revealed yesterday that the “Doomsday Clock” – the manner by which they gauge how close we are to global disaster – is at 90 seconds from midnight and holding. It takes into account a lot of factors to reach their findings, NONE OF THEM have to do with Taylor Swift.
