Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honor Veteran Army Nurse, Gayle Smith. When Gayl e gradauted from college with a nurse degree, she was horrified of the images on TV that were coming from the Vientam War and wanted to do something so she enlisted. After her service she had several orthopedic issue and was also diagnosed with Addison’s Disease. All of this, for years, prevented her from doing what she loves, skiiing. Gayle was refered to a PT at her local VA and 4 long years later she was out of a walker and skiing with friends. Enjoy the slopes Gayle and THANK YOU for your service.
