Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran John Rourke. John served in Iraq and Bosnia and now he’s serving in a different way back home. John is about to make his 3rd trip from South Florida where he lives to the Texas-Mexico border, where he is on a mission to rescue dogs. When migrant come across the border illegally and are held, they are not allowed to keep their dogs, so they turn them loose. John’s goal is to reduce the health crisis in that area and to also find fur-ever homes for these dogs. Thank you for helping John and THANK YOU for your service.
