What a treat to have the Navy representing in the I-C-T during the first week of March. While the whole crew of the USS Wichita won’t be here, I’m still calling it “Fleet Week”. I mean, how many opportunities will I get to say that?

I was lucky enough to talk to Mallory Morton of the Wichita Area Navy League about the ship, the crew coming to town and the banquet.

The USS Wichita (LCS-13) is a Freedom-class littoral combat ship in the United States Navy, known for its versatility and advanced capabilities.
