Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign is losing a major donor. The political network financed primarily by billionaire Charles Koch will no longer spend funds on Haley’s presidential bid following her loss to Donald Trump in South Carolina.
Americans for Prosperity Action says its endorsement of Haley still stands but will instead be focusing resources on U.S. Senate and House races instead.
Trump beat Haley by 20 points in her home state of South Carolina Saturday. Haley, however, plans to stay in the race, arguing the majority of Americans disapprove of both Trump and President Biden.
