Pedestrians killed by snow plow in Manhattan

The Riley County Police Department says two pedestrians were killed after being by a snow plow.

This happened around 5 a.m. Friday, on Tuttle Creek Boulevard, close to Tuttle Creek State Park. The snow plow belonged to Riley County.

The victims were identified as Anthony Toler, 22, and Jayden Rosa, 20, both of Manhattan.

“The accident is a tremendous tragedy for all those personally involved and our community as a whole,” Marvin Rodriguez, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners said. “Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the accident.”

An investigation into this crash is being handled by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
