Today we honor Army Veteran Joshua Maloney and all the Veterans receiving help through a new form a treatment – Virtual Reality. Maloney enlisted in 2009, starting his Army tanker career with a one-year deployment to Mosul, Iraq. He returned home and nine years later, he went from 18 beers a day to 30 to cope with undiagnosed PTSD. His is now seeking help thanks to virtual reality. He said the first time he used VR googles his brain was jumping between being perfectly find and freaking out. VR combined with low-level electrical current known as trans-cranial direct current stimulation, has helped Joshua immensely. Keep working on your path to healing Joshua and THANK YOU for your service.
