Today we honor Navy Veteran Ray Graham. Ray was injured jumping out of a helicopter in the late 1970s, and he credits the Salvation Army for helping him cope with his increased physical needs. He has undergone more than 20 surgeries and has three more planned in the near future. Ray visits the Salvation Army twice a month not only for his needs but to help his mother stock up too.  He says when he walks in he immediately feels the warmth from a whole team of volunteers. His strong faith has helped him along the way, and when he’s not at the Salvation Army he is encouraging everyone to give. Ray says, “You have to know that when you bless other people, they in turn can bless someone else. It’s a cycle.” Thank you for being a helper Ray and THANK YOU for your service.
