Donald Trump said President Biden will go “down as the single worst president.” Immediately after Biden announced he was exiting the campaign, Trump posted, Biden “was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve.” He goes on to say, “We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly.” Trump survived an assassination attempt just eight days ago.

Top Republicans want President Biden to step down now, before the end of his term. House Speaker Mike Johnson posted “If Joe Biden is not fit to run for President, he is not fit to serve as President. He must resign the office immediately.” Ohio Senator and VP nominee JD Vance said “If Joe Biden ends his reelection campaign, how can he justify remaining President?” Vance goes on to ask, “President Trump was right all along about Biden not being mentally fit enough to serve as Commander-in-Chief.”
