Wichita police are investigating overdose cases related to the use of fake oxycodone pills.

A 19-year-old man died over the weekend and there were three overdose cases involving a 16-year-old boy, a 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old man.

Police are warning that pills from the black market can look like real oxycodone, but they contain Fentanyl, which can be deadly.

The police department’s Special Investigations Bureau looked into 23 cases last year involving Fentanyl.   Police said the counterfeit pills have markings that make them look like legitimate Oxycodone pills.
