Today, we salute Electronics Technician 3rd Class Godwin Kasembe from Wichita. Godwin, a Southeast High School graduate, is attached to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101). Recently, he was a part of Force Protection University training. In that training course, he would conduct simulated vehicle sweeps and other security training measures and routine operations while on Naval Base in San Diego. Thank you for being “Wichit-awesome” and thank you for your service Godwin.
