Today, I salute Vietnam Marine Veteran Joseph Bond. As a teenager, Joseph fought in Vietnam, and when he returned to the States, he started a family and worked for the city of Philadelphia for 35 years. After retiring, there was still something nagging at him, something that left him feeling incomplete. Joseph had never finished high school. Determined to make that happen, at the age of 72, he enrolled in night school and is now a high school graduate and has earned his diploma 55 years later.
