Today, I salute Veteran Dr. Marco Gargano. Marco joined the National Guard in 2018 and has spent six years in the dental corps, working at a Camp Robinson, Arkansas, medical unit. For Marco, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing his patients with a happy and healthy smile. This feeling and his service inspired him to help other Veterans who were in desperate need of dental care, but it was care they couldn’t afford or wasn’t provided through the local VA. So Dr. Marco rallied a group of Kansas City area dentists who offer low-cost and sometimes no-cost dental services to Veterans.
