Today, I salute Air Force Veteran Alicia Robinson. Alicia is a single mom, and life after her service has come with its challenges. One of the biggest is reliable transportation. Alicia has used Uber and public transportation, but that doesn’t make financial sense on an already tight budget. Thanks to the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program, she received a car completely free of charge on Wednesday. The car was donated by State Farm and refurbished by a local collision center. They also gave her an extra $500 for insurance. Enjoy your new vehicle, Alicia, and THANK YOU for your service.
