Today, let’s go to the UK for the AWESOME. Sixteen-year-old Josh Duff had endured years of bullying at school for “being different.” His Dad, an avid motorcycle enthusiast, hoped to lift his son’s spirits by reaching out to local motorcycle riders, asking them if they could join him in escorting Josh to his prom, just to give his son a bit of joy. Dad expected a few riders; what he got was more than 1,500 bikers from all over the UK and beyond, who showed up and roared through town with a powerful show of support and solidarity for Josh, sending a message that bullying is not okay. Josh said he was in shock and used to feel alone, but not anymore. Showing that we are never truly alone, and THAT’S AWESOME.
