It’s New Country Friday, and today you get Scotty McCreery’s new EP, “Scooter and Friends.” Zach Bryan has just released “Madeline,” featuring Gabriella Rose, the lead single from a new project called “Heaven on Top,” which is set for release on January 9th. Surprise, Thomas Rhett just released a new single called, “Ain’t A Bad Life,” featuring Jordan Davis. Finally, Zac Brown Band and Snoop Dogg is the collab you didn’t realize you needed, but go give their new single, “Let it Run” a listen. It is very 420-friendly.

Staying with Thomas Rhett, tomorrow night he will check off his final bucket list item and play a sold-out show at Boston’s historic Fenway Park with support from Teddy Swims, Tucker Wetmore, and the Castellows.

Happy Birthday, Luke Bryan. He turned 49 yesterday, and his gift to you and me was pics of his shirtless dance party, the cookie cake with his picture on it, and a trick candle.

So, why does Jelly Roll have a picture of himself and Cody Johnson framed in his house? He tells the story that when he won his first award and was headed down the stairs, Cody was the first person to greet him, hug him like they were old friends, and tell him how proud he was. Jelly Roll said getting that kind of praise from a real cowboy meant the world to him.  They’ve been friends ever since.

The Band Perry is having a full-circle moment, returning to their original record label and country music. The band and the label claim they have numerous stories to tell, and fans will undoubtedly love this new season of music.
