Today, the AWESOME is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. What began as a simple ask for help has snowballed into one of the biggest acts of generosity Sioux Falls’ animal rescues have seen in a long time. A local pet supply store reached out to NutriSource Pet Foods for a donation for local rescues. When NutriSource learned how dire the need was, they replied, “How much room do you have?” The store said, “We’ll make room.” Days later, 6,541 bags of dog food, weighing in at 33,160 pounds and valued at nearly $100,000, were delivered to help feed rescue dogs across the Sioux Falls area, and THAT’S AWESOME.
