Angellee Pilkerton was shopping at Walmart when TikTok creator Jimmy Darts approached her for one of his viral “Kindness tests.” He asked for a dollar, and without hesitation, she gave what little she had. Angellee didn’t know who he was, and Jimmy didn’t realize that Angellee was a single mom of three, a teacher, and she is battling stage 4 cancer. To make matters worse, her treatments cost $1,000 a week, and with insurance no longer covering the expenses, she is preparing for hospice care. Inspired by her kindness, Jimmy launched a fundraiser to support Angellee and her family. In just 24 hours, the response was overwhelming—more than $116,000 was raised to help with her care and provide for her children, and THAT’S AWESOME!
