Late yesterday, Kathleen Williams, a federal judge in Miami, ordered Trump’s “Alligator Alcatraz” shut down within 60 days, and no more detainees were to be brought there. This comes two weeks after an order to halt construction on the controversial camp for its alleged abuses and the irreparable damage it’s causing to the fragile Everglades ecosystem.
