Today, I salute 80-year-old Vietnam Veteran David Hostetter. David served three times in Vietnam and was living a peaceful life at his home in North Carolina. That was until Hurricane Helene devastated that home. David said the flooding ruined everything; his driveway was washed away, and he just watched his belongings float away. Since then, he has lived in a temporary cabin. Now he’s getting much-needed help from a group called the “Paying It Forward Network.” They teamed up with local volunteer groups to bring the support to David that he so desperately needed. They are now helping rebuild the road, his home, and giving him a fresh start. Congrats on receiving all that help, David, and THANK YOU for your service.
