Today, the AWESOME is in Buffalo, NY. A week ago, during the Thursday Night Football game in Buffalo, a life was saved. Buffalo Bills fan Candice Dodge was at the game with her dad. Shortly after kickoff, her 68-year-old father sat down in his seat and told her he “needed a minute.” Candice said she watched the life fade from her father’s face and honestly thought he was gone. Before Candice could process what was happening, fans in Section 121 started yelling for help. A nurse named Danielle rushed over and performed CPR, which Candice believes saved her father’s life. Her father is still recovering in the hospital, but he is getting better each day and is waiting to receive a pacemaker. Candice is grateful for the support of Bills Mafia and has reconnected with Danielle, with plans to attend a future Bills game. The Bills got the win on the field, Bills Mafia got the win in the stands, and THAT’S AWESOME.
