Congratulations, Darius Rucker. Fresh off his shared #1 with Scotty McCreery for the song “Bottle Rockets,” there is more to celebrate. Late yesterday, he became Instagram official; he’s engaged. The “Wagon Wheel” singer showed off two pictures with a caption that read, “Thank you for showing me a level of happiness I have never known,” he wrote. “The day I met you, I knew I didn’t want to go another one without you.”

Thankfully, the Queen cleared up the rumors of her demise. With a video and a caption that said, “I ain’t dead yet,” Dolly Parton took to social media to calm the panic her sister caused earlier in the week. Dolly said, “I know lately everybody thinks that I am sicker than I am. Do I look sick to you?” I’m working hard here! I appreciate your prayers. I’m a person of faith, and I can always use the prayers for anything and everything, but I want you to know that I’m OK.”

And Alan Jackson is having a retirement party with some of country music’s biggest names.  Saturday, June 27, he will perform one last time at Nissan Stadium. Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale will be an epic farewell featuring Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Lee Ann Womack.
