There is outrage in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and if you don’t know the name Jesse Mack Butler, he’s trending. Initially, Butler was 17 when he was charged as an adult and hit with 10 felony counts, including rape, attempted rape, sexual battery, and assault. One of his victims, he left for dead after choking her unconscious. Last week, instead of facing nearly 80 years behind bars, he received no jail time after a deal was struck to make a change and try him as a child and not an adult.
