The Nashville community rallied in a powerful way last night as the American Cancer Society hosted its annual Country vs. Cancer benefit concert, raising more than $350,000 to support ACS programs and research. Helping put good out into the world were Hardy, Miranda, Dierks Bentley, Lainey Gardner, and McCoy Moore.

Kenny Chesney just shared a crazy story about a time he was on tour with Joe Walsh, and a fan grabbed Kenny to pick him up, and Kenny punched the fan in the face. As soon as he did it, Kenny thought to himself that it was going to cost him every penny he made that night. Later, he asked Joe what he would have done, and Joe said, “I would have asked him to carry me to the stage.”
