In a recent interview, he said his next album will be even more stripped-down than his current music. He explained that all of the new cuts are built around an acoustic track and are much less produced than anything he’s done before.

Fans and fellow musicians alike are mourning his loss. His band members shared the news on social media, saying, “Anyone with the pleasure of being in Raul’s orbit knew that he was a force of human nature, with an infectious energy.”
