Two big changes are coming to Gmail. The first is to incorporate Gemini AI into your Gmail to help with everything you do there. It will, eventually, over time, even learn and adapt to your writing style. Secondly, you’ll now be able to change the name of your Gmail account without changing accounts and without losing data. So, if your Gmail address is skibbiditoiletsixseven@gmail.com and you need to send a resume for a job, you can change it to something more professional so HR doesn’t make fun of you.
A Disney World cast member is being hailed as a hero today for putting himself between the 400-pound boulder in the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and the audience when it went off track, heading right for the crowd. The whole thing, caught on video, shows the cast member getting obliterated by the boulder. Thankfully, he suffered only minor injuries.
The 83rd Golden Globes are this weekend on CBS, hosted by KU alum Nikki Glaser, and I wonder what the Vegas over/under odds are of stars falling down the stairs. On Sunday, after stars arrive, instead of taking photos behind a traditional flat press backdrop, they’ll now make their way down a descending staircase because construction at the venue has changed the decades-long footprint of the red carpet. Super high heels, long, flowing gowns, and camera flashes; this might be the year I finally watch.
