A new spending bill to keep the U.S. Government open for business is close, but it’s not a done deal yet. Late Thursday, a vote on the compromise package remained elusive. Sen. Lindsey Graham reportedly stormed into Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s (R, S.D.) office, putting a hold on the package, which Graham reportedly called a “bad deal.” The Senate officially adjourned Thursday night without a vote and will return Friday morning to try to pass the deal.
AI abilities seem to be changing daily. Google’s latest is Project Genie. It’s an AI tool that lets users create an interactive, playable world from a simple prompt or a picture. The two big drawbacks of Genie are that it is still in development, and you can only play 60 seconds at a time, and you can only play it on the Ultra AI platform, which will set you back $250 a month.
