Today, I salute Army Veteran and longtime Wichita business owner, Paul White. On Saturday, the Wichita community came together to celebrate the life and legacy of White, who died on January 17th. He was a Veteran but also founded P&P Seed and Bait Company, which served northeast Wichita for 35 years. The business won multiple awards, including Best Black Wichita Business and Best Place to Find Fried Catfish. White was active in his church and was also inducted into the Wichita Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2024. White leaves behind his wife of 48 years, four children, and eight grandchildren. Thank you for being a big part of Wichita for all these years, Paul, and THANK YOU for your service.
