The war between the United States and Iran continues to escalate. Iran claims it has hit the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, the Baghdad Airport, and oil fields in Saudi Arabia, which has rattled markets and sent oil prices soaring. Meanwhile, the U.S. and Israel continue to pound Iranian sites. Iran says at least 130 cities in the country have been attacked and 555 people are dead.
Awards season is in full swing, and the Actors Awards last night have set the stage for an Oscar showdown between “One Battle After Another” and “Sinners.” “One Battle After Another” has been winning a lot of awards, but “Sinners” took the top prize last night. Other highlights included a posthumous win for Katherine O’Hara and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Harrison Ford. The Oscars are on ABC on Sunday, March 15th.
and loops and waves are making a comeback. Pennsylvania and New Jersey are the latest states requiring that cursive be taught in school. According to Education Week, more than half of U.S. states now require or strongly encourage schools to teach students to read and write in cursive — up from just 14 states a decade ago.
