Today, the AWESOME is found in Wichita. Wichita Animal Action League does amazing work for Animal Welfare in the Wichita area, but it was a recent act for human welfare that really speaks volumes to the types of humans volunteering for WAAL. In a post on Facebook, they talked about an unhoused man named Devin, who had to make the difficult decision to surrender his pup so the pup could have a better life. Yesterday, Kylee, a member of WAAL, ran into Devin and the post described what happened next. She asked Devin what he needed and he said clothes and a haircut. Kylee rallied the troops, put the call out to social media and her WAAL team, and they answered the call. Proving that compassion knows no species,
