Today, I salute Navy SEAL Veteran, Astronaut, and my friend Chris Cassidy. Chris is one of only three individuals in American history to serve both as a Navy SEAL and a NASA Astronaut. After his service, he continued to serve as the CEO of the newly constructed and opened Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, TX. Early this week in Texas, Tarrant County Commissioner for Pct 3, and former State Representative Matt Krause, named March 10th, 2026, “Chris Cassidy Day.” Matt called Chris a rare individual and an American hero who has made an indelible mark on the community.
