Upon spotting a woman attempting to steal a neighbor’s package, Williams calmly intervened, offering the only cash she had on her at the time—$7—and words of encouragement: “You’re better than that. Get some help. I love you. God loves you.” The woman, moved by this kindness, apologized and returned the package.
