Today, the AWESOME is in Denver, Colorado. Nine-year-old Hayden Stine found inspiration at a Denver Summit FC game when she watched professional soccer player Carson Pickett take the field. Born without most of her right arm, Hayden saw in Pickett proof that her dream of becoming a pro athlete is possible. The experience boosted her confidence both in school and on the field. Pickett, who once tried to hide her limb difference, now embraces her platform to inspire others. She even surprised Hayden at practice, beginning a meaningful connection.
