The problem is that the system only works when it can detect that the driver is alert and their eyes are open. She passed out and her Tesla stopped in the middle of I-75. A state trooper came upon the dangerous situation and promptly arrested her under suspicion of DUI, after she blew a blood alcohol content of twice the legal limit.
