Wichita State University has announced plans for a “Virtual Celebration” of the spring and summer 2020 graduates.
An online commencement is planned at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 16th, with congratulatory comments from WSU President Jay Golden as well as the provost, deans, and the Alumni Association.
Participating graduates will have a custom slide posted with the event link, showcasing a photo and message they have provided. A Virtual Celebration Recognition List will be posted with the names of the eligible spring and summer graduates, their degrees and honors.
People who post congratulatory comments to a student on social media are encouraged to use the hashtag #2020WichitaStateGrad
