A motorcycle rider died from a crash in southwest Wichita Sunday night.
The rider was reported to be part of a group of riders on K-42, near Tyler. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m., and involved a pickup in the eastbound lanes of traffic. The pickup driver was stuck inside his vehicle after the crash, but was not seriously hurt.
Officials described the motorcycle rider’s injuries as critical, and they passed away shortly after the crash.
The rider’s name has not been released yet.
