Roughly 70,000 Kansans who ordinarily aren’t required to file Federal Income Tax returns may still qualify for a Stimulus Payment.
The IRS will send a letter (IRS Notification 1444-A) to those who didn’t file in 2018 or 2019, along with information on eligibility.
While receiving this notification is not a guarantee of a payment, the IRS is urging residents to use the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info tool at the IRS website. The deadline to register for a Stimulus Payment is October 15th.
