“Filling the Gap Lunches for Kids” will be handing out free lunches for kids and youths aged 18 and under on Monday, March 15th from 12pm to 1pm.
Kids can pickup grab and go lunches at 12 different sites across Wichita, Oaklawn, and Hayesville (See below).
The program is a collaborative effort with the Kansas Food Bank, volunteers, and community organizations. Due to the COVID-19 restraints, they will be providing a weeks’ worth of meals to children present at any of the sites.
They will also be handing out meals once again on March 22nd from noon to 1pm.
Donations to the program can be sent to Partner for Wichita at 925 N. Waco, Wichita, KS 67203 and designated for “Filling the Gap.” You can also donate online at www.partnersforwichita.org.
