The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Haysville man was killed when his pickup went out of control and overturned in a crash in Edwards County.
The Patrol said the crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 50 near Lewis. An eastbound pickup went off the road and into a ditch, and rolled several times, ejecting the driver.
The KHP said 31-year-old Brandon Reese of Haysville was dead at the scene. Troopers said Reese was not wearing a seatbelt and the airbags on the pickup did not activate.
