Several suspects are in custody following a chase through Downtown Wichita that ended in a vehicle crash around 8:15 Saturday night.
Wichita Police pursued a vehicle that sped away after dropping off a 19 year old man at a local hospital who had suffered a serious, but non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Officers said that they saw the vehicle the man was dropped off in, and as they were they tried to stop it, it drove off.
The car then turned onto Kansas Street and struck another vehicle, injuring a 29 year old female passenger.
Two suspects then fled the scene on foot, but were found shortly afterward.
Police are continuing to investigate the incidents.
