Police officers arrested a 26-year-old man after an armed robbery was reported at a west Wichita restaurant Thursday morning.
Officers were called to a Dog-N-Shake restaurant at 8800 West Maple around 10:20 a.m., and an employee reported that a man walked into the restaurant, pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The man left with some cash.
Officers searched the area and with the help of witnesses, the suspect was seen getting into a car in the 200 block of South Robin. He was arrested and officers found cash and a handgun.
