A 15-year-old boy was treated at a hospital after shots were fired at a north Wichita home.
Officers were called to a drive-by shooting report around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of North Burns, which is a neighborhood west of the intersection of 25th and Arkansas. They found damage to a home and shell casings in the neighborhood.
A 34-year-old woman took her son to a hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. There were several other people in the home, but they were not hurt.
Police said the shooting was not a random incident. Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
