A Wichita woman has appeared in court on a charge of first degree murder in connection with the shooting death of her sister.

Bond was set at $150,000 for 34-year-old Joy Wilson, and her next court appearance is scheduled for June 3rd.

Wilson was arrested after police found the body of 40-year-old Shawna Webb on May 15th at a home in the 2400 block of North Green.    Officers met Wilson at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital at 3600 East Harry, and she told them her sister had been shot and needed help.   Police found a gun in Wilson’s car.

No information has been released on the circumstances that led to the shooting.
