A fire near Kellogg and Washington sent up a lot of smoke, backing up traffic in the area.

Crews were called to the area around 7 a.m., and found fire in a detached building at a business, at Dewey and Eldora. There were reports of either some type of solvent or oil burning. While firefighters were working to get flamed under control, traffic started backing up at Kellogg and Washington, both on the highway and the ramp to Washington.

It didn’t take long for firefighters to get the fire under control. No injuries were reported and investigators are working to find exactly how the fire started.
