A 34-year-old woman is in jail for the death of a man found in an alley Tuesday afternoon.
Wichita police say a passerby found the body of 49-year-old Hung Nguyen, in an alleyway near Rock and Harry. The passerby feared Nguyen had been shot and called 911. Officers learned Nguyen had actually been stabbed, and that he was seen with a woman earlier in the day. She was found and arrested for first-degree murder.
Investigators believe that Nguyen and the woman did not know each other, and that he was stabbed after upsetting the woman. Police report she has a criminal history in Texas, and was recently released from prison for arson-related crimes.
